Die Kunstmesse PARALLEL VIENNA
feiert dieses Jahr ihr zehnjähriges Jubiläum und freut sich, Ihnen das Jahresprogramm für 2022 vorzustellen. Erneut wird PARALLEL VIENNA zusätzlich zur Kunstmesse im September das erfolgreich umgesetzte Konzept der PARALLEL EDITIONS im Mai veranstalten. Auch der Termin für die Hauptmesse PARALLEL VIENNA im September steht schon fest und wird nach dem tollen Feedback erneut in der ehemaligen Semmelweisklinik stattfinden.

Nach erfolgreichem Start im letzen Jahr, wird PARALLEL VIENNA erneut zusätzlich zur Kunstmesse im September das Konzept derPARALLEL EDITIONS vom 12. bis 15. Mai 2022 veranstalten. Mit EDITIONS setzt Parallel Vienna auf ein Format mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Editionen, diverse Grafiken, Multiples, Kleinplastiken, Objekten, Skulpturen und Kunstbüchern. Dieses bietet den Ansatz, Kunsteditionen zum Kernpunkt der Kunstmesse zu machen
PARALLEL EDITIONS wird wie im letzen Jahr im Atelierhaus der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien /ehemaliges Semperdepot, Lehargasse 8, 1060 stattfinden.
Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Heimo Zobernig wie letztes Jahr eine Tische Edition für ein einheitliches Display exklusiv gestaltet.

PARALLEL VIENNA feiert das zehnjährige Jubiläum!
Die zehnte Ausgabe der Kunstmesse findet vom 06. bis 11 September 2022 wieder in der ehemaligen Semmelweisklinik in 1190 Wien statt.
Wie in den Jahren zuvor lädt das kuratorische Team aufstrebende sowie etablierte Künstler*innen aus dem In- und Ausland ein, ihre künstlerischen Positionen zu zeigen. Dabei werden rund 170 Räume der ehemaligen Geburtenklinik und der Krankenhausschule mit mehr als 600 künstlerischen Positionen bespielt. Zusätzlich wird wieder im Außenbereich der Klinik ein umfangreiches Performance-Programm präsentiert.
PARALLEL VIENNA presents young and emerging as well as established artistic practices and brings together art initiatives of every kind – art associations, galleries, project spaces, off spaces and artist spaces – , both Austrian and international, all under one roof. It thus combines local artistic creation with international trends and contributes to building networks and fosters exchanges between between artists, curators, collectors and exhibition visitors.
PARALLEL VIENNA
is a hybrid between art fair, exhibition platform and artist studio. It unites exhibitions made by commercial galleries (GALLERY STATEMENTS — each with a solo presentation of an artist), off-spaces and art associations (PROJECT STATEMENTS – a solo or group show) and solo presentations by selected artists (ARTIST STATEMENTS or artistic INTERVENTIONS in the building invited directly by PARALLEL VIENNA). Instead of the usual booths at art fairs, each exhibitor occupies a separate room of the building in which the exhibition is presented. https://bit.ly/3cp0QltThese site-specific artworks and interventions are the trademark of PARALLEL VIENNA and make the fair a unique and alternative exhibition format outside the“white cube.
