Hoorn & Reniers, de nieuwe expositieruimte voor eigentijdse kunst in Den Haag, nodigt u van harte uit voor haar feestelijke opening en de vernissage van de solo-expositie ‘After the years of trying’ van de Oostenrijkse beeldende kunstenaar Kevin A. Rausch op zaterdag 2 september van 16 tot 18 uur.
De opening wordt verricht door schrijver Geerten Meijsing. ‘After the years of trying’ is de eerste tentoonstelling van Kevin A. Rausch in Nederland.
Hoorn & Reniers, the new exhibition space for international contemporary art in The Hague, cordially invites you to attend its grand opening and the vernissage of the solo exhibition ‘After the years of trying’ by the Austrian artist Kevin A. Rausch on Saturday 2nd September from 16.00 until 18.00 hours. The opening will be performed by author Geerten Meijsing. ‘After the years of trying’ is the first exhibition of Kevin A. Rausch in The Netherlands.

Kevin A. Rausch (Woflsberg, Oostenrijk, 1980)
rondde in 2006 zijn opleiding aan de Wiener Kunstschule af. Zijn werk geniet in Oostenrijk grote bekendheid en zijn doeken maken onderdeel uit van collecties als MMMK (Museum voor Moderne Kunst Kärnten) en de nationale bank van Oostenrijk. Daarnaast was zijn werk al in Caïro, Istanbul en Berlijn te zien. Florian Steininger, curator van Bank Austria Kunstforum, omschrijft zijn doeken als zwartromantische fantasielandschappen waarin de kunstenaar als Lonely Wolf zijn schilder- en tekensporen trekt.
Kevin A. Rausch (Wolfsberg, Austria, 1980)
graduated from the Wiener Kunstschule in 2006. His work is known throughout Austria and makes part of art collections like MMMK (Museum für Moderne Kunste Kärnten) and the national bank of Austria. Outside his home country,
his paintings and sculptures have been exhibited in Cairo, Istanbul and Berlin. Florian Steininger, curator of Bank Austria Kunstforum, describes the paintings of Kevin A. Rausch as black romantic fantasy landscapes in which the’Lonely Wolf’ artists leaves his painterly marks.
